Deanna Jacome is an interdisciplinary painter exploring the intimacy of place, making tiny moments monumental through scale, sustainable materials, and slow-ancient making practices. Her mixed-media practice interconnects sustainably sourced fibers, oil paints hand-ground from earth pigments, dyes and collage materials that are found, gifted, or foraged within her direct environment and community.

Deanna received her BFA from Montserrat College of Art in 2015 and her MFA in Studio Fine Arts from Maine College of Art & Design in 2023.
